What inspires you the most? Gale force wind and storm conditions. I grew up living by the sea and I always remember being fascinated by these conditions.

5 things you can’t live without: My van that has been with me for 11 years, my simple Nokia phone that keeps me grounded, kitesurfing, my family, a football.

What other interests do you have? Football is a major passion of mine and all sports really, especially racket sports. Diving boards and skating also influenced me to get into kitesurfing.

What was your childhood dream? I don’t recall ever having one specific goal or dream, but I suppose continuing to enjoy life as much as you do in your younger years at all times is important to me.
