    RIGHT EYE (OD)

The sphere (SPH) indicates the strength of lens required to correct your focus. A positive value corrects long-sightedness (hyperopia), whereas a negative value corrects short sightedness (myopia). We can accommodate SPH readings of (+5) to (-8).

The CYL (cylinder) value denotes the strength of the astigmatism. Astigmatism means that the eye has difficulty focusing at certain angles. If you have a cylinder value, then you will also have an Axis value. If your prescription shows "DS", this means that you do not have an astigmatism, and you should leave the field blank.

The Axis is the angle of the astigmatism correction and specifies where the astigmatism is on your eye. The measurement is in Degrees. The values range between 0 and 180. If you have a "Cylinder" value, then you must also have an Axis value. Please add it here or leave blank if you have no Axis reading.

    LEFT EYE (OS)

Prism / base are readings for a lazy muscle and are not present on most prescriptions. If there are measurements for prism & base on your prescription,  select 'yes' and enter the details in the fields below. Otherwise, select no and continue.

The Pupillary Distance (PD) is the distance between the centre of your pupils. Your PD is important in the lens-making process because it tells us where to centre your prescription in the frame you chose.

We require your PD Distance reading before we can proceed with preparing the lenses. Your optometrist will hold this information on your file.  Please contact them and send this information to us after you have placed your order.

  • Standard
    Polarized
    Photochromic
    Polarized + Photochromic

Fixed tint (non-polarized) lenses. Price indicated includes hydrophobic, oleophobic, anti-scratch and anti-reflection coatings.

Our polarized lenses strip out 99% of reflected glare. Price indicated includes hydrophobic, oleophobic, anti-scratch and anti-reflection coatings.

Our photochromic lenses offer a range of tinting as they adapt to the natural lighting in your surroundings.  They cannot be combined with a mirror coating. Price indicated includes hydrophobic, oleophobic, anti-scratch and anti-reflection coatings.

Our photochromic + polarized lenses not only darken when exposed to sunlight but also progressively polarize. Partial polarization in lower light conditions progressively adjusts to a maximum of 85% polarization in bright outdoor light. Price indicated includes hydrophobic, oleophobic, anti-scratch and anti-reflection coatings.
